You read the title correctly… Ronnie Coleman was arrested this past Friday. Apparently he was driving through Dalworthington Gardens, TX on his way back to Arlington when he was pulled over for speeding. As most of us know, Ronnie was a reserve member of the Arlington Police force (from 1998 to 2003). After being pulled over Ronnie pulled a typical ex-cop move and showed the officer his old badge and ID. It appears the arresting officer wasn’t impressed by Ronnie or his old badge because he took them both and ran them through the system. The end result was Ronnie being arrested for impersonating a police officer. He was brought to jail last Friday and made bail that same day. If convicted, Coleman could face a maximum fine of $2,000 and spend 180 days in jail.
John Romano, of RxMuscle, has since spoken with the Big Nasty and been told that the whole thing is a big “misunderstanding”, and that details will come out on Monday that will shed light on this situation. I’ll be back Monday with further details.
